There’s a big misconception that chickpeas (or other beans) is a high source of protein - but it really isn’t! So having choley with roti will likely leave you feeling low in energy and hungry shortly after.

Here’s how I made a lunch bowl that had the right amount of macros (high protein, carbs around 30g, and lots of fibre). I gotta say I felt so satisfied - both from a tastebud perspective and also feeling full and energized!

I was making a BIG mistake - I was making everyone the same breakfast and then getting frustrated when certain kids don’t finish their food. Turns out not everyone likes oatmeal every morning LOL 🤦🏻‍♀️. So I asked each family member (except the baby) what they would prefer for breakfast, and I’ve been setting aside 20 mins in the morning to prep all our breakfasts. I do it before anyone wakes up so it’s nice and quiet without feeling rushed. The results have been amazing - everyone is finishing their breakfast MashaAllah!
