A lot of you have been asking what my smoothie bowl was topped with - so here’s the recipe for my protein peanut butter granola!
here is what you need to make this DELISH recipe:
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 cup vanilla protein powder
3 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup hemp seeds
1 cup peanuts
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup ground flaxseed
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Enjoy over some Greek Yogurt for a protein-packed snack!

The past little while has been a whirlwind of emotions (and hormones) for me as I had to say goodbye to my breastfeeding journey with my son. Out of all 3 of my kids, this one was definitely the most physically challenging but alhumdulilah I’m proud of myself for persevering. There’s no denying the physical, emotional, and mental toll breastfeeding has on a woman but also how beautiful the bonding is, making it that much more difficult to end. Even though I’ve done this twice before, I always have this fear that my kids won’t come to me anymore after I’m no longer nursing them. But surely, we both eventually adjust and find a new normal - new ways to bond and new ways to build our relationship of mother and son. Alhumdulilah for this chapter! For those of you currently breastfeeding, know that yes it is hard, but this time too shall pass - the nights are long, but the years are short. You’ll get through it mama ❤️.

[Coconut Chicken and Vegetable Curry Recipe]

This is a popular recipe from The Healthy Ramadan Guide but also in our household!

Here’s what you need:

* 1 Tbsp olive oil
* 1 lb boneless chicken cut into cubes (breast or thigh)
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 1/4 tsp black pepper
* 1 Tbsp olive oil
* 1/2 red onion sliced
* 1 Tbsp ginger garlic paste
* 1 carrot chopped
* 1 tsp ground cumin
* 1 tsp ground coriander
* 1/2 tsp chili powder
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 1/4 tsp black pepper
* 1/2 cup water
* 2 cups broccoli chopped
* 2 cups mushroom sliced
* 1/2 cup water
* 1 can coconut milk
* 1 Tbsp corn starch + 1/4 cup water

5 TIPS FOR BREASTFEEDING AND FASTING + full recipe for these delish cookies below 👇🏽

Zucchini Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes: 18 cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup shredded zucchini
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup all natural peanut butter
- 2 cups large flake oats
- 3/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup unsalted pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tsp cinammon
- 1 tsp baking powder

Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix together shredded zucchini, honey, and all-natural peanut butter.
2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
3. Place 18 spoonfuls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-14 minutes at 350oF.
4. Let cool for 5-7 minutes before eating. .
